Fonix Press & Go Computer Program Overview:

  • Connect to your computer
FONIX Press & Go creates a real-time connection from your personal computer to your FONIX hearing aid analyzer. From the FONIX Press & Go program, you can select the curve you want to measure, change your source type and amplitude, and start and stop all hearing aid measurements. Test results are updated in real-time on the screen of your personal computer and can be saved into permanent memory.
  • Automate your measurements
The Auto Test feature, when enabled, will automatically run through the four frequency response measurements of a test without pausing for user intervention. Just press the Start button and watch FONIX Press & Go do the rest. When the test is finished, all four curves will be displayed on your computer screen.
  • Easy measurements with the Test Wizard
Each test screen has a built-in Test Wizard that can walk the user through each step of the hearing aid test using both pictures and instructions. This is perfect for both the beginner user who may not have much experience in performing hearing aid tests and the busy clinician who may not have the time to learn the user interface of the FONIX analyzer. The Test Wizard is fully customizable—all pictures and text instructions can be modified to fit your needs.
  • Compare previous test results
From any test window, you can easily open previous test results for direct comparison to your latest measurements. This can quickly tell you whether the frequency response of the hearing aid has changed since the last time it was tested.
  • Flexible Defaults
FONIX Press & Go comes complete with several recommended test protocols for both hearing aids and FM systems. These test protocols include default source types, source levels, and Test Wizard instructions suitable for many clinical situations. However, if these settings don’t meet your needs, you can change any of them from the Default Settings window. This makes FONIX Press & Go extremely flexible and adaptable to a variety of testing situations.
